The place where art, mindfulness, yoga, food, & community meet
Professional women work hard all day caring for others. Many of us struggle with finding ways to manage the stress that our professions create. As a psychiatrist, I have remained mindful of the impact patients in crisis and healthcare demands can have on myself, my colleagues, and all women.
In my experience it is not one thing that has caused stress, anxiety, or burnout and so it is not one thing that will solve it all either. Creating a network of support and skills to manage these issues is really helpful.
Working with me gives you access to years of practice and experience in managing stress, anxiety and burnout both personally and professionally.
We all want to be successful and yet with that success, we may miss out on something so important and that is being joyful, peaceful, and present. We get so caught up in the process, we miss the experience itself sometimes.
Well maybe it is time to change all that and find ways to be in the moment and live life differently, intentionally. If you want to learn how and need guidance...
... well then let me help you. With a gentle hand and an open heart, I will guide you towards a more meaningful way of being that is just right for you. For you and only you as it is different for each of us. We will create a path that is unique to your needs with skills that will suit your style of being.

I am a board certified psychiatrist that has cared for women and children for more than 20 years, guiding them toward wellness using whatever tools are available and best suited for their needs, including mindfulness, meditation and relaxation.
I am a woman - strong and vulnerable. I am a mother, a wife, a daughter and a sister. I am a friend to many.
I am an educator who is forever learning and coaching others towards positive change.
I am a healer.
I am a potter who is thankful that it has helped me manage the stress that life brings. Art has the power to heal.
I am a foodie and enjoy cooking for others; bringing people together to explore flavors and cultures and stories over delicious food. Community and laughter is a path to wellbeing.
I want to share my knowledge and tools with those experiencing stress and pressure - those who want to feel connected, relaxed, and in control of their emotions and their world within an atmosphere of warmth, kindness and abundance.

“What a needed resource and outlet for women healthcare providers! Randie has organized a delightful way to unwind, share ideas and struggles, engage our creative brain, and learn relaxation techniques. The new friendships formed are a bright spot in my future. And the tools learned for stress management are encouraging to be able to call on when needed. I would highly recommend this program to any healthcare provider who needs a way to decompress and rejuvenate.”

"I was so refreshed and rejuvenated by the retreat experience, in a beautiful country house away from our usual daily busyness. Being gently active in creative, reflective experiences helped me reduce stress and delve more deeply into what is truly meaningful in one's life. Dr. Randie Schacter fosters a warm positive atmosphere with great caring, humor, insight and aplomb. Each individual is free to participate in her own way, and a helpful bond is created. I highly endorse Dr. Schacter's retreats.”
