A stately 12,000 sq foot home, with over 120 feet of water frontage, located north of Charlotte on a quiet street in Mooresville, NC on Lake Norman. It is conveniently located near my home and a great city, Charlotte. It is also accessible to gorgeous state parks and The Blue Ridge Parkway, famous for its beauty, hiking trails and waterfalls along its way.
When I booked it, I was impressed. When I visited it in person, I was overjoyed with what it really had to offer. The pictures are lovely. The house IRL is stunning.
This 4-story mansion has it all and more. It is truly incredible. Filled with so many great spaces and things to enjoy during your downtime, you will be delighted with every moment you are there as you uncover another new treat this mansion has to offer.
There are beautifully decorated lounging areas on every floor to just snuggle up with a book of your own or from their collection. Relax with a cup of tea and take time for yourself or gather with a few of your new besties and strike up a conversation.
If that is not what you're in the mood for then there are endless other things the house provides from kayaks to water floats, a heated pool or hot tub. If water is not your thing, then consider a game of ping pong, pool, foosball or even air hockey. Sit in the private theater and watch a movie or check out the gym and meet your fitness goals on an elliptical or stair-master, weights or stretch. You could work on your pottery too, if you wanted, or just take a nap even on a lounge chair in the sun or in that cozy bed of yours. It is your downtime.

All the beds are as comfortable and luxurious as the rest of the home with fine linens and soft blankets so no matter what you choose you will sleep well.
The bathrooms are equipped with fluffy robes and all the things you need to feel fresh and clean, so you don't need to bring your own. They have made every effort to make sure all things are perfect.
The house is rightly positioned in our favor, whether we are outside on one of the two decks or inside looking through the magnificent windows all around we will enjoy beautiful sunsets reflecting on the water.
North Carolina has a strong community of Organic, Humane, Grass Fed farmers. Farm to table is a passion of mine and as your host, I have cultivated relationships with local farmers over the years. I have been catering events for 30 years and am delighted to be able to share my love for food and flavors with you during our time together. When not in the kitchen myself, I will be overseeing the meals planned and prepared by my trained staff. I am excited to share the high-quality produce, cheeses and meats with you. We will explore a multitude of flavors and ingredients. Fall is my favorite harvest time of year filled with dark leafy greens, winter squash, apples, figs, persimmon, beets, broccoli and all sorts of cabbages. Heirloom tomatoes, fennel, and all colored varieties of potatoes are ripening too. These freshly picked fruits and vegetables seasoned alone or paired with cheeses, fish or meat can become decadent main dish, appetizer, soup or meal.
Let your imagination run wild. Each evening, I will provide a meal with dishes and flavors from a different region or country, from Italy to Japan, Morrocco, to Thailand, spanning diverse cuisines and cultures to satisfy your hunger and nourish your body.
Mornings wake up to fresh coffee and an assortment of tea flavors, fresh baked goods, fresh fruits, yogurts, granolas and a warm dish that will vary. Lunch or brunch will include a salad and an assortment of dishes to please all your senses.
Snacks will be available, should you need more. There will be no opportunity for you to go hungry. Fresh healthy, preservative-free ingredients will always be available to you.

Charlotte is in the south. It would not be fair to be here in the south without having some proper southern fare. So, for Sunday brunch we will take a drive and get brunch at a renowned restaurant nearby, southern style. Try some dishes like fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese and cracker, shrimp and grits, collard greens or southern style chicken. Enjoy all the delicious southern dishes in the ambience of a charming restaurant with friendly staff.
After the meal stroll around and check out the local shops. Buy some treats for yourselves or loved ones to bring home or just take a fulfilling after dinner walk.
